Louise Auclair Sikorski is the Founder and President of Auclair and Company, a consulting firm dedicated to enhancing the impact of the non-profit sector.
Born and raised in New Hampshire, Louise has been a Floridian since 1968 and a resident of Martin County, Florida since 1981. After living in Ann Arbor,
Michigan for two years, she made the decision to return to Martin County in 2005.
Since embarking on her professional career, Louise has worked in law office management for eight years, and as Director of Administrative Services
for the Children’s Services Council of Martin County (CSCMC) for eleven years. Her work at CSCMC, as well as her independent consulting to nonprofit
organizations over the past eight years, led to the formation of Auclair & Company in 2009.
Louise founded Auclair & Company with the vision of providing nonprofits with the necessary tools to allow them to fulfill their missions with efficiency and excellence.
Education
Louise has a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration from Barry University in Miami, Florida and a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management from the New
York Institute of Technology, Florida Satellite Campus, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In 2003, Louise received her Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR) from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
She is currently a member of SHRM as well as the Martin County Human Resource Association Chapter (HR Martin County), Florida Association of Nonprofit Organizations (FANO), Boardsource, the Society of Nonprofit Organizations (SNPO), and the Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce.
Community Involvement
In addition to providing pro bono and reduced rate services to various nonprofit organizations, Louise is currently the Treasurer for the Martin County Interagency Coalition and Public Relations Chair for HR Martin County. Louise has also been active in the community through her involvement with the HR Martin County Literacy Book Drive to benefit the Library Foundation of Martin County, as volunteer Chamber Liaison on the “Best Places to Work in Martin County” Committee for HR Martin County, Public Relations Chair for HR Martin County, Legislative Chair for the Martin County Interagency Coalition and as a volunteer instructor in classes for prospective Professional in Human Resources/Senior Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) candidates. Louise has also assisted the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society in their annual campaign.
Louise was awarded the 2010 President’s Award for HR Martin County for her efforts in getting media attention to the chapter, service on committees and business support for the organization. In 2011, Louise received the HR Martin County Professional Development Scholarship Award. She also received the Martin County Interagency Coalition LEADERship Martin County scholarship for the 2011 class.
Louise lives in Palm City, Florida with her husband. She is the mother of two grown sons and an involved grandmother of seven grandchildren.
